Thank you for choosing Accessible Health for your Endoscopy procedure. Please note of the following key items to ensure your safety:
Currently a COVID-19 Test is not required for endoscopy procedures. If you have had a recent Covid-19 exposure or are experiencing any symptoms of sickness, please contact the Accessible Health Boston Endoscopy Nursing line at 000- 000-0000 to determine if your procedure needs to be postponed or if a Covid test is required.
All endoscopy patients will receive a phone call 3 business days before the procedure. At this time, you will be given your procedure arrival time. During this phone call, we will review procedure preparation instructions, your medications, answer any questions you have and confirm your transportation arrangements.
Day of your Procedure
Please come to the Endoscopy Parking Lot, located to the left of the main entrance driveway. You will be required to take a parking ticket at the entrance gate. There is a 30-minute no charge/no parking fee for drop off and pick up of patients.
Plan to be at the Endoscopy Center for approximately 2 to 3 hours.
If your family member/ride is accompanying you to your appointment, you should park in the Endoscopy Center parking lot and enter together.
You cannot drive yourself after your procedure. Our nurses will keep in contact with your ride to be sure the pick-up process is smooth. Your ride will pick you up at the same Endoscopy Center entrance door.
For your safety you cannot use a ride service such as a cab, Uber or Lyft unless you have a friend/family member ride with you after your procedure.
If you enter from the West Entrance, please proceed to the Endoscopy Center located on 3 Central. Take the Central Elevators located on the left side of the 1st floor lobby to the 3rd floor. The Endoscopy Center is located to the left of the Blood Lab. Follow the Endoscopy Center signs and the Endoscopy waiting area will be on the left. Please check in at the registration desk in the Endoscopy waiting area.
